The 3-1 Fredericton Royals will send NCAA Div 1 Northern Kentucky University starter Jake Shaw and his 90+ mph fastball to the mound Thursday in the first of 3 games in 3 nights for the team. Troy Bishop will get the start Friday at home and Saturday’s home game starter is TBA.
Shaw joins the Royals fresh off his 2nd season at Northern Kentucky University where he is a fixture in the rotation and bullpen for his college team. The Royals will look to the young hard throwing righty to shut down the Alpine offense and help get the team back in the win column after a poorly played 8-1 loss at home to Chatham Friday night.
